AstraRead ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website at astraread.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our service you agree to these practices.
1. Information we collect
When you order a report or sign up for our newsletter, we collect:
- Personal details you provide: name, gender, date and time of birth, place of birth, and email address.
- Payment information: processed entirely by Gumroad. We never receive or store your card details.
- Usage data: browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, and approximate location — collected automatically via Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
2. How we use your information
- To generate and deliver your Destiny Matrix report.
- To send you the newsletter or lead magnet you signed up for.
- To improve our website and understand traffic patterns.
- To respond to support requests sent to [email protected].
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
3. Third parties and data processors
We use the following services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Gumroad — payment processing and order management.
- PDFMonkey — PDF generation from your report data.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Make (Integromat) — workflow automation between services.
- Google Analytics / Tag Manager — website analytics.
- Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and security.
4. Data retention
Report order data (name, DOB, birth details) is retained in our order database for up to 12 months to allow re-generation requests. You may request deletion at any time by writing to [email protected].
Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics defaults (26 months).
5. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].
If you are in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
6. Cookies
We use cookies through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for analytics purposes. You may opt out via your browser settings or browser extensions such as uBlock Origin. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across other websites.
7. Children
Our service is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have done so inadvertently, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
